Questions about custom programming.
How much does a custom build cost?
It depends on scope, which is what the free systems audit establishes. Every project is quoted as a fixed fee in a written Statement of Work before any work starts, so the number you sign is the number you pay. Half is due at signing and half on delivery.
Do you build from scratch or on top of the tools we have?
Whichever is cheaper to own. Often the right answer is a small custom tool that sits on top of QuickBooks, your CRM or your scheduling software rather than replacing them. We only write code where buying doesn't fit.
What happens if we need changes after it's built?
You can hire us for changes, or any other developer, because you own the code and the documentation. If you want ongoing maintenance, we offer it monthly, cancellable on 30 days' notice.
